Travel and Tourism Services Level 1-3


The Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Travel and Tourism Services is a 180–hour qualification consisting of six units of 30 hours each.
The Level 2 BTEC Certificate in Travel and Tourism Services is designed to provide:
  • Education and training for those in the travel and tourism services industry
  • Opportunities for learners in the travel and tourism services industry to achieve a nationally-recognised Level 2 vocationally-specific qualification
  • Opportunities for full-time learners to gain a nationally-recognised vocationally specific qualification to enter employment in the field of travel and tourism services
  • To progress to further vocational qualifications such as the Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Travel and Tourism Services
  • To progress to the Level 3 BTEC Nationals in Travel and Tourism
  • The knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to work within travel and tourism services roles
  • Opportunities for learners to focus on the development of the major key skills and the wider key skills, such as improving own learning and performance, problem solving and working with others, in a travel and tourism services context
  • Opportunities for learners to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
