Teacher Training Programme (LLLS)
Overview
TTP have been designed to develop and accredit the breadth of knowledge and skills required by teachers to develop and manage learning programmes and undertake a high level of responsibility in managing the learning process. They aim to develop candidates' skills and knowledge and to recognise their achievements in a practical way that is relevant to the work context and reflects the professional values of teachers in the lifelong learning environment.
The qualifications have been designed to meet the Department for Education and Skills' requirement that all new teachers in further education must achieve nationally recognised teacher's qualifications.

Candidates who successfully complete these awards can use the completed unit towards the OCR Certificates in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector at either level 3 or level 4. If a candidate completes the level 4 award, the unit can be used towards the OCR L5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
